I'm Richard Porter. I've been in marketing for over 20 years — press, ambient, experiential, out-of-home, content, paid ads, email. I've been agency-side and client-side. I've worked on big names like Coke, Lexus, and Paramount Pictures as well as scrappy small businesses that punch well above their weight.
In 2015 I pivoted into digital, with a focus on paid media. In 2018 I went all-in on e-commerce — and I even founded my own e-commerce brand, which changed how I think about everything. When it's your money on the line, your perspective on spend efficiency sharpens considerably.
Today, I focus exclusively on paid media strategy and execution for Shopify brands. I care about getting your paid channels working together intelligently, spending where it matters, and generating returns you can actually build a business on.
